The only reason why the appeal has been preferred by the appellant against the decision of the learned Single Judge dated 20.07.2016 is because he wants payment of interest over and above the cost of Rs.50,000/-, which has been imposed upon the State for delayed payment. The facts and circumstances being such this Court is not impressed that except for statutory

Patna High Court LPA No.1725 of 2016(5) dt.13-12-2017 2/2 interest, interest on delayed payment on post retiral dues is required to be paid as a matter or course.

Appeal is dismissed.
