The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1.(i) For issuance of appropriate writ/order/direction in the nature of Certiorari, commanding the respondents to quash the notice contained in letter no. 82/2019-385 dated 10.02.2021 issued under the signature of land, record and survey, Revenue and Land Reforms Department, whereby and whereunder final selection

Patna High Court CWJC No.6341 of 2023(2) dt.08-11-2023 2/2 list of Amin has been published and appointment letters to the selected candidates have been issued accordingly, on the ground that some of the candidates have been selected/appointed who have possessed the Diploma from the same institution from where the petitioners have obtained Diploma but petitioners candidature were rejected on the ground that the institution is not recognized whereas their candidature has been accepted."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of their aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
