In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Simri P.S. Case No. 262 of 2018, registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act 2018.

The police has recovered 17.280 liters of foreign liquor from the house of the petitioner, however, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.

Looking to the quantity of the liquor recovered, let the petitioner, above-named, be released on anticipatory bail in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12591 of 2019(2) dt.06-03-2019 2/2 below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional District Judge-II-cum-Special Judge (Excise), Buxar, in connection with Simri P.S. Case No. 262 of 2018, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
