The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Case No.C2/669/17 registered under Sections 30(a) and 37(b) of the Bihar Excise Act.

The accusation is of recovery of 150 bottles, each containing 300 ml. Nepali Saufi, from the possession of the petitioner.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner, in the present case, is in custody since 23.11.2017. After being apprehended by the police in the present case, the petitioner has also been remanded in another case, as

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.7370 of 2018 (2) dt.08-02-2018 2/2 detailed in paragraph-3 to this application, in which he is on bail. Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Sitamarhi, in connection with Case No.C2/669/17.
