The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Laxmipur Police Station (for brevity, PS) Case No 387 of 2021 dated 08.12.2021 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302/34 of Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of Arms Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner is accused in two other criminal cases, as stated in paragraph 3 of the bail petition in which he is on bail. The said cases are not related to the heinous nature of allegation like murder. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner. The co-accused persons, namely, Sufal Yadav and Gautam Yadav have already been granted bail by this Court vide orders dated 28.07.2022, 27.07.2022 passed in Cr Misc No 18665 of 2022 and Cr Misc No 17763 of 2022 respectively. The petitioner is in custody in this case since 22.03.2022. Learned counsel for the informant and learned APP have vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.
