2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Kasba P. S. Case No. 175 of 2024 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8(C)/21(C)/25 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, 600 litres illicit cough syrup was recovered from pick-up van.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that name of petitioner transpired during course of investigation. Petitioner is neither driver nor owner of the vehicle in question and has got no concern with the alleged recovery. Petitioner is in custody since 22.11.2024. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed
