====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE ORAL ORDER 03-10-2016 Heard Dr. Satyendra Kumar Srivastava, learned Counsel, appearing on behalf of the petitioner, and Mr. P.K. Verma, learned Additional Advocate General No.3, appearing on behalf of the State-respondents.

In view of the fact that from the counter affidavit, which has been filed, it transpires that the investigation of the case is in progress and, therefore, this writ petition is closed with

Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.902 of 2016 (4) dt.03-10-2016 2/2 liberty granted to the petitioner to approach this Court with appropriate application, in future, if so advised, and also take recourse to such provisions of law as may be permissible. Having considered the averments made in the writ petition and materials on record and upon hearing the parties, it is hereby directed that respondent No.3, namely, Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna, shall enquire into the grievances raised in the writ petition, do the needful in accordance with law and get the investigation of Khagaul P.S. Case No. No.99 of 2016 completed expeditiously, preferably, within a period of six months, ensuring proper, fair and effective investigation in such a way that no innocent person is harassed.

Let a copy of this order be sent forthwith to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna, and Officer-In-Charge, Khagaul Police Station.

With the aforesaid observations and directions, this writ petition stands disposed of.
