JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 03-04-2019 The petitioner was appointed on compassionate ground in the year 1983. The service book of the petitioner was prepared in the year 1984. In the year 2017, the petitioner had made an application for correction in her date of birth, which, according to her, had wrongly been entered in the service book and wanted that her date of birth, which has been indicated in the service book as 21.12.1957 be changed to 01.01.1960.

2. Though a representation has been filed before the concerned authorities but without furnishing any proof of her date of birth being 01.01.1960 and not 21.12.1957.

3. The claim of the petitioner does not appear to be tenable for the reason that the service book was prepared in the year 1984 and such an application for correction of date of birth has been made for the first time in the year 2017.
