The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Complaint Case No. 502 of 2017, registered for the offence punishable under Section 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code and section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Vide earlier order dated 18.09.2019, two months further time was extended to the Mediation Centre, Patna High Court for settlement of dispute between the parties with direction to submit its report within two months. Pursuant thereto, the office has reported that

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14397 of 2019(6) dt.13-02-2020 2/2 Mediator's report along with demand draft no. 132230 dated 16.10.2019 amounting to Rs. 1,00,000/- is kept at flag 'E', from perusal of which it appears that dispute between the parties has already been resolved through the process of mediation, accordingly, an agreement/settlement is drawn and signed by the parties. Demand Draft No. 132230 dated 16.10.2019 is handed over to counsel for the Opposite No. 2 which is duly received by Mr. Alok Kumar Alok, Advocate High Court, Patna. In view of the facts aforesaid, the provisional bail earlier granted to the petitioner vide order dated 08.03.2019, is hereby confirmed.
