Patna High Court CWJC No.4098 of 2022 dt.20-06-2022 2/3 cancelled by order dated 18.02.2022 by the licensing authority.

3. The contention of the petitioner is that he was given only three days to represent his cause and when he could manage to file his reply within such short period, that was not adverted to before passing the order of cancellation of his license.

4. From the perusal of the order impugned, we find that the grounds for cancellation of license has only been sketchily drawn-up.

5. However, finding that the petitioner has not exercised the option of preferring an appeal against the order impugned, we direct that in the event of the petitioner preferring an appeal within a period of 60 days, the same shall be entertained by the appellate authority and after giving sufficient opportunity to him, such appeal shall be disposed off by a reasoned order within a further period of 60 days thereafter.

6. Needless to state that the petitioner shall be afforded all opportunity and the order so passed would be a

7. With the aforesaid observation/direction, the writ petition stands disposed off.
