Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in Barhat PS Case No. 72 of 2014, registered under Sections 386, 511, 414 of the IPC and Section 25(1-b)A, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act. The allegation in brief is that the police apprehended some miscreants fleeing on a motorcycle, who disclosed name of the petitioner as one of the person also along with them who escaped away and some arms were recovered from the apprehended accused. Submission is that except disclosure of name of the petitioner regarding escaping away and criminal antecedents there is no other material; there is no allegation by any person regarding making demand of extortion and the petitioner is in custody since 16.5.2017.
Having considered the said facts and circumstances, the petitioner Ramesh Hembram is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri N.K.Yadav, Judicial Magistrate, lst Class, Jamui in connection with Barhat PS Case No. 72 of 2014.
