This application for anticipatory bail arises out of Danapur P.S. Case No. 523 of 2021 for the offence punishable under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 27 of the Arms Act.

It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the matter has been settled and therefore, the petitioner should be granted anticipatory bail. Serious allegation has been made that because of inter caste marriage, the deceased was killed by the petitioner, who happens to be the brother-in-law of the deceased. Now, it appears that the petitioner is tampering with the evidence.
