JUSTICE HARISH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 12-04-2023 Heard Mr. Ranjeet Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State. On a request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner a report was called for in regard to the statement made at the bar that despite specific order of this Court, till date the bail bond of the petitioner has not been accepted by the jurisdictional court on the ground of verification of criminal antecedent of the petitioner.

However, from perusal of the report, it appears that till date the petitioner has not furnished the bail bond due to which his bail bond has not been accepted. The report further contends that earlier one another co-accused, namely, Raj Kumar Mahto, who was granted bail, has furnished his bail

No.18309 of 2023(3) dt.12-04-2023 2/2 bond on 10.08.2022 and the same was accepted on the same day, but so far the petitioner and one Prabhakar Mandal are concerned, they have not furnished their bail bonds till date. However, the aforesaid contentions of the jurisdictional court have been contested by the learned counsel for the petitioner. Be that as it may, on the request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner that he would be furnishing the bail bond on behalf of the petitioner within a week, the present application stands disposed of.

Learned counsel for the State has no objection. In case, the bail bond of the petitioner would be furnished before the jurisdictional court within a week from the date of receipt/production of the order, the same shall be accepted in accordance with law and also in terms of the order dated 12.07.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 52117 of 2021. (Harish Kumar, J) uday/- U T
