JUSTICE RAJESH KUMAR VERMA ORAL ORDER 23-09-2024 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr. Anshay Bahadur Mathur, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of Union of India and Mr. Uday Bhan Singh, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Gail (India) Limited. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the stand taken by the respondent-Gail (India) Limited in their counter-affidavit that the compensation amount has already been paid to the petitioner on 16.09.2021 itself.

In view of the aforesaid and with respect to the stand taken by the respondents in their counter-affidavit, the writ petition is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to move before the District Judge of the concerned District and avail remedy under Section 10(2) of the Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines Act, 1962 for enhancement of his compensation. 4.

Accordingly, with the aforesaid direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
