The petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 292(A), 506, 504, 509 of the Indian Penal Code and section 67 of the IT Act. As per the prosecution case, petitioner tagged the informant on Facebook and started chatting on the pretext of marriage and on denial he started threatening her. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, while denying the prosecution story, submits that as as matter of fact parents of the informant wanted to marry his daughter with the petitioner, and for pressurizing the petitioner, lodged this false case. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.15486 of 2023(2) dt.18-05-2023 2/2 Considering the aforesaid facts of the case, prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. In the event of arrest/surrender within six weeks from today, let the petitioner, mentioned above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Araria in Forbesganj Police Station Case No. 752 of 2022, subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
