Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

6.510 litres of liquor was recovered from hut of the petitioner. Petitioner was not there. Petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 03.12.2017.

Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5279 of 2018 (2) dt.01-02-2018 2/2 the case is pending in connection with Hathauri Police Station Case No. 180 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
