Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a)/32(1)/32(3)/41(1) and 41(2) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act. Petitioner is driver of the tempo from which huge quantity of liquor was recovered. Petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent. There is no material to substantiate that petitioner is going to tamper with the evidence or hamper the trial.

Considering the facts of this case aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after framing of the charge so that trial may not hamper on furnishing bail

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12116 of 2020(2) dt.29-02-2020 2/2 bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Special Case No.424 of 2020 arising out of P.R.Case No.307 of 2020, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
