Learned counsel for the petitioners is permitted to remove defect(s), as pointed out by the office, if any, within a period of four weeks from today.

This application for anticipatory bail arises out of Digha P.S. Case No. 652 of 2021 for the offence punishable under Sections 302, 304-B, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code. The marriage is of the year 2019. The petitioners are mother-in-law and father-in-law of the deceased. Allegation has been made against the petitioners that they have killed the daughter of the informant for demand of dowry.

Accordingly, this anticipatory bail application is dismissed. However, if the petitioners surrender in the Court below within a period of four weeks from today and seek regular bail, the Court below shall consider and decide the same without being influenced by the present order. While considering the matter, the Court below shall also consider the statements made in paragraph no.7 of this bail application and also consider the fact that the husband of the deceased is in jail.
