JUSTICE RAVI RANJAN ORAL ORDER 13-07-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for offences punishable under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that about 2000 litters Nepali country-made liquor and 80 bottles of Nepali English wine have been allegedly recovered from one car in which the petitioner was boarding, one motorcycle and five bicycles, which were being driven by several persons. Petitioner claims his antecedent to be clean and is in custody since 26.3.2017.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.31979 of 2017 (2) dt.13-07-2017 2/2 on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the 2nd Addl. Sessions Judge, Araria in Narpatganj P.S. Case No. 128 of 2017.
If the petitioner, after his release in this case, is again found involved in similar nature of cases then the concerned court would be at liberty to take steps for cancellation of his bail bonds.
