Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018 and Section 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

From a four wheeler, liquor was allegedly recovered. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. Submission is that neither the vehicle is of the petitioner nor the petitioner has any concern with the recovered liquor. He is in custody since 07.01.2019.

Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14580 of 2019(2) dt.10-04-2019 2/2 like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Aurangabad (Muffasil) Police Station Case No.03 of 2019, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
