The petitioners seek regular bail in connection with Mirganj PS case no. 10 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 307, 504/34 of Indian Penal Code.

The prosecution case in brief is that on 08.02.2017 at about 7 pm, petitioner herein and others are said to have arrived at the door of the informant and started abusing and beating the informant with fists, slaps and lathi etc. The further allegation is that he has received injuries on his head.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the matter pertains to land disputes, case and counter case are pending between the parties, the allegations leveled against the petitioners

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.29053 of 2017 (2) dt.01-07-2017 2/2 are general in nature and no specific allegation of any overt act has been attributed against the petitioner. Learned counsel for petitioners further submits that the petitioners have no criminal antecedent and they are in custody since 09.02.2017. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and appropriate to enlarge the petitioners on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea in connection with Mirganj PS case no. 10 of 2017.
