JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 04-02-2015 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 149, 283, 341, 353 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code.
It is alleged that the petitioner and 50 unknown persons blocked the main road for two hours protesting against reconstruction of the Jamindari Bandh.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that though, in the FIR the petitioner was only named but the FIR has been lodged against 50 unknown and admittedly the blockade was made by the mob. A statement has been made in para 3 of the petition that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
