The petitioners apprehend their arrest in Complaint Case No. 443(C) of 2012, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The complainant, wife of Karu Chaudhary made allegation that after marriage, her husband and other in-laws demanded money and due to non-fulfillment of demand they assaulted her.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are mother-in-law and father-in-law of the complainant. The complainant has not made any allegation of
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.4027 of 2015 (2) dt.29-01-2015 2 / 2 demand of dowry against the petitioners.
Having considered the facts and allegations made against the petitioners and the fact that the petitioners are in-laws, they (Usha Devi and Krishna Chaudhary), in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned S.D.J.M., Sheikhpura in connection with Complaint Case No. 443(C) of 2012, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. (Prabhat Kumar Jha, J.) Sanjay/- U T
