Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 836 (C) of 2018, registered under Section 498(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, in fact, dispute has been settled between the petitioner and O.P. No.2 in the trial Court in Maintenance Case No. 140 (M) of 2018 in terms of the agreement, which would appear from

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12640 of 2019(5) dt.27-09-2019 2/2 Annexure-1 to the supplementary affidavit filed on 23.09.2019. The supplementary affidavit dated 23.09.2019 indicates that dispute in between the petitioner and O.P. No.2 has been settled in terms of the agreement, as detailed in the compromise petition, which is Annexure-2.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the S.D.J.M, Nalanda at Biharsharif in connection with Complaint Case No. 836 (C) of 2018, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438

(2) of the Cr.P.C.
