JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 12-08-2020 Since the petitioner no.1, Indrajeet Singh has been arrested, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present application with regard to petitioner no.1. Permission is accorded.
Accordingly, the present application with regard to petitioner no. 1 dismissed as withdrawn.
So far as petitioner no.2 is concerned, the present application has been filed for modification of the order dated 08.04.2019, passed in Cr. Misc. No.21671 of 2019, whereby the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.15755 of 2020(2) dt.12-08-2020 2/2 Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016, with a direction to the petitioner to surrender before the learned Court below, within a period of 12 weeks, to the extent of extending the period of surrender.
On the ground mentioned in the modification application, the period of surrender is extended by four weeks from date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, in connection with Kurhani P.S. Case No. 485 of 2018, pending before the learned Special Judge, Excise Act, Muzaffarpur. Accordingly, the present application is disposed of. (Dinesh Kumar Singh, J) Ashwini/- U T
