2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Palasi P.S. Case No. 04 of 2026 registered for the offence under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii), 22(c) of N.D.P.S. Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the recovery of 53.9 gm smack was made from different packets from the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. The petitioner is in custody since 02.01.2026.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that from recovery, it appears that the petitioner is a drug peddler.

6. Considering the gravity of the offence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application for regular bail is hereby dismissed.
