====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SATYAVRAT VERMA ORAL ORDER 29-03-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections -30(a) of the Excise Act, 2018.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 21.08.2021, he is a person with clean antecedent and charge-sheet has been submitted in the case.

Allegation is of recovery of 65.550 litre of liquor from the house of the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the house is a joint family property, as such, the petitioner was not aware, who had kept the liquor in the house.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody, he is a person with clean antecedent and charge-sheet has been submitted in the case, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Harnaut P. S. Case No.373 of 2021.

The application stands allowed.
