In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No. 492 of 2018 registered for offence punishable under sections 341, 342, 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner has criminal antecedent.

In such view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and accordingly his prayer for bail is rejected. However, if the petitioner surrenders before the court below within a period of three weeks, the court below without being prejudiced by this order, will decide the case on its own merit.
