The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 504 of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

It is alleged that informant fixed the marriage of his daughter with petitioner no. 1. Petitioner no. 2 is father of petitioner no. 1. During engagement ceremony Rs. 5,000/- and jewellary of Rs. 14,000/- were given. The informant had agree to pay Rs. 1,50,000/- in cash and Rs. 50,000/- for motorcycle as dowry. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that in fact the son of the petitioner no. 2 was minor hence, proposal of marriage was never accepted when threatening was given for which petitioner no. 2 filed Pakaridayal P.S. Case No. 53 of 2013 against informant. Considering the aforesaid facts, let the above named petitioner be released on anticipatory bail in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of twelve weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Sikrahana, Motihari, East Champaran in connection with Complaint Case No. 197 of 2013 arising out of Pakridayal P.S.
