The petitioner seeks bail in Laxmipur P.S. Case No. 24 of 2022, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 121, 121(A) and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and sections 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21 of the UAP Act.

As per the prosecution case, on secret information that some Maoists are assembling near Chormara forest a raid was conducted and this petitioner was apprehended on the spot. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that no arms and ammunition or any incriminating article has been recovered from possession of this petitioner. There is no allegation of specific overt act against this petitioner. Petitioner claims clean antecedent and he is in custody since 23.01.2022. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.13841 of 2022(2) dt.10-05-2022 2/2 the petitioner above-named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub-Divisiona Judicial Magistrate, Jamui in connection with Laxmipur P.S. Case No. 24 of 2022.
