This writ application has been filed for directing the respondents to prepare the award in the favour of petitioner and to make payment of compensation amount for land acquired for construction of Punpun Main Canal in Mauza- Barheta appertaining to Khata No. 2, Khesra No. 468, area 69 decimal. 3 . At the outset, learned counsel for the State refers to the paragraph 9 of the counter affidavit, filed on behalf of respondent No. 5, and submits that a title appeal is still pending with respect to the land in question since 1979.

4. In that view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to interfere in the matter in its extra-ordinary writ jurisdiction.
