The petitioner's prayer for regular bail was earlier rejected on 15.02.2017 considering the recovery of 280 K.G. of ganja from the vehicle of the petitioner which was made in presence of local independent witnesses. His prayer for bail was again rejected on 04.10.2017 in Cr.Misc.No.44794 of 2017. The petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail again on the ground that in spite of direction of expeditious trial the case has not concluded. The learned trial court has reported vide letter no.26 dated 07.03.2018 that only two chargesheet witnesses including the investigating officer are yet to be examined and the trial is likely to conclude within three months.
