2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No. 176 of 2018 for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 332, 333, 353, 307 and 379 of the I.P.C. lodged on 21.05.2018 by the informant, Jyoti Kumar Basu.

3. As per the prosecution story, the Police came to know that a labour has died in a timber shop and when reached there, saw mob. On the sight of the police, they started throwing stones as also resorted to assault, allegation against this petitioner is also of assaulting the Police. Accordingly the FIR.

4. Though, learned counsel for the petitioner tried to impress upon this Court that he was unaware of his implication in the case, learned APP pointed out that the occurrence is of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.21417 of 2024(2) dt.04-04-2024 2/2 year 2018 and six years later, he has approached this Court for grant of anticipatory bail.

5. In that circumstance, it would be appropriate that he, in the aforesaid circumstance, surrenders and seeks bail.

6. The anticipatory bail application stands rejected.

7. If the petitioner surrenders within a period of four weeks from today, the Court concerned shall take up the matter and dispose of the same preferably on the same day. (Rajiv Roy, J) Adnan/- U T
