2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences alleged under Sections 323 and 498(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code registered in connection with Complaint Case No. 547(C)/2006.

3. At the very outset, this Court takes note that the present anticipatory bail petition has been filed after inordinate delay of more than 12 years since filing of the complaint and the petitioner has not shown any immediate apprehension of his arrest.

4. In the above view of the matter, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present anticipatory bail petition with liberty to surrender before learned court below and pray for regular bail which may be considered on the same day, considering that other accused persons have already been granted anticipatory bail.
