This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offences under Sections 417 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation is that some other candidates appeared impersonating themselves as petitioners in the physical test for appointment to the post of Constable.
Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that cheating by impersonation is bailable. The petitioners are in custody since 23.02.2018. The investigation of the case is complete.
Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioners,
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.23044 of 2018 (2) dt.20-04-2018 2/2 above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending in connection with Gardanibagh P.S. Case No. 52 of 2018, subject to the condition that the petitioners shall fully co-operate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioners.
