This application for anticipatory bail arises out of Shahpur P.S. Case No. 158 of 2020 for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 307, 379, 427, 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 27 of the Arms Act. The petitioner is said to have assaulted the injured on the head by iron rod. Corresponding injuries have been found. The nature of injury will not entitle the petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail in a case registered under Section 307 of the Indian Penal Code even if similarly situated accused persons, who are having general and omnibus allegations, have been granted anticipatory bail.
