Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in Rohtas (Amjhore) PS Case No. 356 of 2017, registered under Sections 30(a), 34 and 37(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. The allegation in brief is that 20 litres of country made liquor was recovered from the gallon and the petitioner is alleged to have been escaping away with the gallon.

Submission is that it is a small quantity of 20 litres, petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 4.12.2017.

Having considered the said facts and circumstances, the petitioner Sanjay Kumar Sah @ Hachchu Sah is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Sessions Judge II -cum- Special Judge,Excise, Rohtas at Sasaram in connection with Rohtas (Amjhore) PS Case No. 356 of 2017.
