Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code.

On confidential information, the police raided the house of the petitioner and others. From possession of the petitioner, only Rs.2700/- was recovered, which the petitioner claims to be his own.

Submission is that the petitioner is in custody since 02.02.2018. Petitioner has not been put on T.I.Parade and co-accused Laddu Kumar and Premchandra Kumar have already been allowed bail by this Court in Cr.Misc No.17469 of 2018.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.18639 of 2018 (2) dt.03-04-2018 Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Chanpatiya (Sirisiya O.P.) Police Station Case No.40 of 2018, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
