Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Manjhi P.S. Case No.34 of 2017 registered for the alleged offences under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. As per the prosecution case, 380 liters of foreign liquor is said to have been recovered from the house of one Jitendra Singh who had stored it for selling it on the occasion of Holi. When the police raided the house, the petitioner and other accused persons managed to escape from the said house. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that no incriminating article has been recovered from the conscious physical possession of the petitioner. He has been

He has no concern with the seized wine. He has been languishing in jail custody since 21.04.2017. In the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.D.J.-6th, Saran at Chapra in connection with Manjhi P.S. Case No.34 of 2017.
