JUSTICE BIRENDRA PRASAD VERMA ORAL ORDER 24-12-2013 The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a criminal prosecution registered under Sections 395 of the Indian Penal Code. He has prayed for grant of anticipatory bail primarily on the ground that he is not named in the F.I.R. as an accused. However, taking into consideration the materials collected during the course of investigation and the findings recorded by the learned Sessions Judge, Gopalganj, in his impugned order dated 17.5.2013, the prayer for anticipatory bail made on behalf of the petitioner is hereby rejected. The petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from today and seek regular bail, if so advised.
