19-09-2017 Heard Sri Ravi Ranjan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Narsingh Tanti, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor. The sole petitioner, who is in custody since 23-07-2017 in Mithanpura P.S. Case No. 223 of 2017 registered for offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016 and Sections 290, 420, 379, 120(B), 34, 467, 468 of the Indian Penal Code on an accusation of recovery of two bottles of Indian make foreign liquor, has prayed for grant of bail. Learned counsel for the petitioner has also drawn my attention to statement made in paragraph - 3 of the petition to show that petitioner is having clean antecedent.
