In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with POCSO Special Case No.229 of 2019, arising from Gaurichak P.S. Case No.444 of 2019 registered for offence punishable under sections 448, 354(B) of the Indian Penal Code, section 8, 12 of POCSO Act and sections 3(1)w(i), 3(2) V(a) of SC/ST Act.

In the present case, allegation has been made that on 10.11.2019 in the night, the petitioner entered into the house of victim and tried to outrage her modesty. When she raised alarm along with her brothers then the petitioner fled away from there. The petitioner is in jail since 11.11.2019.

Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14127 of 2020(2) dt.09-06-2020 2/2 this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner for the present and accordingly his prayer for bail is rejected. However, he may renew his prayer after one year of custody. (Shivaji Pandey, J) Mahesh/- U T
