Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner apprehends her arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 118(1), 118(2), 303(2), 352, 3(5) of the BNS. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is a person with clean antecedent and is a woman and the informant alleges that while she was taking water from a hand-pump, when Manoj started abusing and Kiran assaulted her by an iron rod and Khanti and bit her right ear and cheek by teeth, further when her husband and mother-in-law came to save her, accused assaulted them.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in the instant case by the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12903 of 2025(2) dt.02-04-2025 2/2 informant. It is next submitted that on account of drawing water from the hand-pump, an altercation had taken place, in which both sides assaulted each other. It is further submitted that even the injury suffered by the injured is simple in nature, as would manifest from Annexure-2 to the anticipatory bail application. 5.

Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and taking into account the fact that petitioner is a woman, the petitioner above-named, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the learned trial court within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned trial court where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Bajpatti P.S. Case No. 298 of 2024, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482 (2) of the BNSS.
