The petitioner is in custody in connection with Chandan P.S. Case No. 186 of 2018, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 30 (a) (g) and 32 (2) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent. He further submits that in the instant case total 171 liters liquor was seized from a car. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that nothing was recovered from the physical or conscious possession of the petitioner and the said car belongs to the co-accused Ravin Kumar. He further submits that petitioner was not aware that in the car liquor was kept. Learned counsel for the petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.13615 of 2019(2) dt.06-03-2019 2/2 would submit that petitioner is in custody since 01.12.2018. Considering the fact petitioner has no criminal antecedent, let the petitioner named above be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Learned Additional Sessions Judge-2 Banka, in connection with Chandan P.S. Case No. 186 of 2018.
