2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Fatuha Police Station Case No. 399 of 2020, for the offences punishable under Section 341, 323, 324, 307, 504 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of Arms Act.

3. Prosecution story in brief is that the brother-inlaw of the informant wanted to marry with her sister-in-law (nanad) and on her denial, the petitioner assaulted her with fire arm causing injury near the waist.

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner informs this Court that no substantial progress has taken place in the conduct of the trial and the report reflects that

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.15555 of 2023(3) dt.12-04-2023 2/2 charges have been framed, but none of the prosecution witnesses have been examined. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner is not indulged in any illegal criminal act.

5. Considering the fact that no progress has taken place in conduct of the trial after framing of the charges not a single witness has been examined, let the petitioner, above-named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Ist Additional Sessions Judge, Patna City, Patna, on such terms and conditions as he deems fit and proper, in connection with Fatuha Police Station Case No. 399 of 2020 (S. Tr. No. 303 of 2021).
