The petitioner seeks bail in Deepnagar P.S. case No.196 of 2017 (S.T. No.663 of 2017) registered under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of Sessions Judge, Nalanda at Biharsharif.

The earlier bail application of the petitioner was rejected vide Annexure 1 to the present application taking into account that the petitioner is the husband of the deceased and within a period of two and half months of the marriage the deceased was done to death by the petitioner. A report was called for from the trial court regarding the stage of trial. It has been reported that charge has already been framed and summons have been issued against the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.29651 of 2019(6) dt.27-09-2019 2/2 witnesses and the trial is expected to be concluded within a period of one year.

Considering the nature of accusation and the stage of the trial, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The same is rejected.

The Trial Court is directed to take all necessary steps to conclude the trial preferably within a period of one year from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. (Sudhir Singh, J) Narendra/- U T
