2. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the demand of Rs. 2 Lakhs has been made, which has been paid to him only after the filing of the writ petition. However, interest has not been paid on the said Rs. 2 Lakhs.
3. Learned Sr. Counsel for the Bihar State Power
Patna High Court CWJC No.5374 of 2016(8) dt.18-03-2025 2/2 Holding Company Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as BSPHCL) submits that under the provisions for payment of cash relief, there is no direction for the payment of interest. Therefore, BSPHCL is unable to pay any interest, However, the legal dues of the petitioner have already been paid to him.
4. In light of the submissions, this writ petition stands disposed off, ascertaining the position that the grievance of the petitioner regarding the payment of cash relief has been settled. Since there is no direction in the resolution to pay any interest, this Court refrains from passing any such direction. (Dr. Anshuman, J.) Aman Kumar/- U
