Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a),37(c)of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Petitioner was apprehended at the time of recovery of liquor. Allegation is that the petitioner was throwing the bag of liquor in the water nearby. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. He is in custody since 31.01.2020. There is no material to substantiate that the petitioner is going to tamper with the evidence or hamper the trial.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after completion of investigation on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like

No.12109 of 2020(2) dt.29-02-2020 2/2 amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Garkha Police Station Case No.61 of 2020, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
