Petitioners seek bail in connection with Kursakanti P.S. Case No. 6 of 2020 registered for the offence punishable under section 414 of the Indian Penal Code and section 11 of the Prevention of Cruelty of Animal Act. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that petitioners have been falsely implicated in this case merely on basis of suspicion. From the allegations levelled, no offence under the alleged section is made out against this petitioner. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Petitioner is in custody since 14.01.2020.
