This application has been filed for modification of the order dated 16.12.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 69696 of 2022 by which the petitioner had been granted anticipatory bail by this Court.
Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has confined his prayer to the extent that the period of surrender granted vide order dated 16.12.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. 69696 of 2022 may be extended for further two weeks on the ground that the petitioner could not surrender before the court below within the stipulated time for the reason that he being the poor man was out of station for his livelihood. He further submits that there is no deliberate or intentional latches on the part of the petitioner.

No.32841 of 2023(2) dt.17-05-2023 2/2 In view of the submission, let the period of surrender be extended by further two weeks from the date of this order and accordingly, the order dated 16.12.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 69696 of 2022 stands modified to the aforesaid extent only. This application stands allowed.
It is made clear that no further modification seeking extension of period of surrender on behalf of the petitioner shall be entertained.
